Description: What is included in the session?

This is a question I hear daily so I thought I would explain what a typical (JUST ONE EXAMPLE) session with me is like. If a client doesn't specify a certain style they would prefer, I usually perform a combination of Swedish and Deep Tissue massage starting with the back, using a blend of specific massage oils. In one hour I massage the back, neck, shoulders, glutes, legs, feet, arms, hands and scalp. Sometimes if a client is having a problem with a specified area, I will spend a bit more time on that area and a bit less on others. In all of my sessions I use aromatherapy to further enhance the relaxing of the muscles and tendons. If specifically asked for, I can use essential oils for energy and vitality as well. Occasionally if the neck is very tight I will perform gentle traction on the neck by stretching. When the client is on their back, I place a lavender eye pillow over the eyes to relax them and allow the client to focus on nothing but enjoying the massage. Massage in itself is a sensual experience, meaning "of the senses", HOWEVER, this does not mean it is sexual and my sessions, as always are THERAPEUTIC AND DRAPED ONLY. I am strictly a professional massage therapist who has worked in the medical field for twelve years helping those who want to relieve stress or are in pain.

Sometimes it is easy to get caught up in all the madness of the world and fast-paced city life. Stress can manifest itself in your body without your awareness in the form of headaches, anxiety, backache, and depression among other symptoms. This is why massage is so essential to your well-being and overall health.

If you suffer from any of the above mentioned symptoms or just need to unwind, I can use several techniques to treat any variety of problems.

I completed my training in 1996 in Huntington Beach at the California College of Physical Arts and, in addition, taken courses at the Institute of Professional Practical Therapy in Los Angeles as well as working with chiropractors, acupuncturists, osteopaths, podiatrists, energy workers, and massage healers over the years.

The following are my expanded comments regarding my experience with this provider:

I had been experiencing a burning pain (muscle tightness) in my right shoulder when I went to Rhonda. It was constant and had been going on for quite some time. Rhonda paid extra attention to that area without sacrificing the quality of the rest of the massage. As I was driving home, afterward, I noticed the pain was gone and I had an overall tingling feeling and a higher sense of clarity than I had experienced for quite some time. So, whether you are suffering from muscle pain or just want that "tingly" feeling, I recommend you book an appointment with Rhonda. Her rates are very reasonable, too.
