Description: I am on maternity leave for the next couple months and will make my availability known as I transition from having a newborn. I am very grateful for the clientele that I've established, and looking forward to continuing to build my private practice in the coming months. I can refer out to other therapist in the meantime and also welcome any questions from new clientele who would interested in my services. See you around the bend!
Touch..
Often underated and misunderstood. The power of touch, to heal and renew. How often do we allow ourselves this? Has it become some luxury that we can do without? Is it confused with empty versions? True healing of our bodies and our souls comes from the healing and theraputic touch offered from massage. Let the stress, the emotional baggage, and the physical strain melt away in my hands.
My sessions consist of implementation of Swedish/Deep Tissue, Energy Work, Thai and Shaitsu. I also utilize methods of MFT work to get out muscle strains and knots. Energy work coats the body in an awareness of self and a release of blocked energy.
Prenatal massage is also offered for those who are seeking the relief of the physical and emotional ups and downs of pregnancy. I come from a school of thought much different than most prenatal therapist who have never experienced pregnancy or are limited by fear of pregnancy itself. With my first son I got to experience prenatal massage due to a car accident, and with my second son, I went through most of my schooling pregnant, which gave me a wealth of knowledge that most therapist will never experience. Since this is to be my main focus, it seemed that everything that could go wrong with my body, did. And now I bring this wealth of knowledge to you, with the confidence of what most people are scared to implement, so that your session genuinely addresses what the body so desperately needs during this very miraculous but trying time.
The space I work out of is very calming and serene, and can be manipulated through aroma, music and lighting to suit your needs. There is a shower available upon request at the time of booking the appointment. I look forward to working with you and welcome both female and male clients. Please ask about hour, hour and a half, and two hour sessions.
For new male clients, this seems to be necessary so I would like to add that any massage service you receive from me is not of a sensual, erotic or sexual nature. Please respect the professional nature of this. Thank You
