Description: My massage consist of Swedish, Deep Tissue and Myofascial Therapy along with elements of Reflexology. I also offer Energy Work and Prenatal massage, and have a great sensitivity to the needs of an expectant mother. When you leave your session, your posture is improved, knots are worked out, and your tension and stress is alleviated.
As my training progresses, I will be adding Shaitsu/Acupressure, Hot Stone, and various other modalities to the list of work I do. I also incorporate energy work into my massage for clients who are seeking that or are open to that. This is a focus on healing the body through a transmission of energy, and contribute greatly to clearing emotional blocks, allowing the client to move beyond limiting ideas and energy. It's also a secret weapon I hold that allows chronic muscle tension and knots to dissipate, when the cause tends to be more emotional than physical. Our muscles hold emotion, and things that are not dealt with or allowed to be stagnant contribute greatly to the knots we have.
I have a very strong interest in the alternative and natural care of the body and soul, and love this type of work. This sort of approach is much more recognized in the Eastern cultures, but is gaining more acceptance in the West. In terms of massage therapy the benefits are endless and include increased circulation and mobility, strengthening of the immune system, stress management and relief, and the awareness of proper breathing techniques.
The space I work out of is very calming and serene, and can be manipulated through aroma, music and lighting to suit your needs. There is a shower available. I look forward to working with you and welcome both female and male clients. Please ask about hour, hour and a half, and two hour sessions.
For new male clients, this seems to be necessary so I would like to add that any massage service you receive from me is not of a sensual, erotic or sexual nature. Please respect the professional nature of this. This also includes no light touching. Thank You
