Description: I am a graduate of Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing and a licensed massage therapist. I work with the client's musculature and nervous system to create a sense of calm and openness in the body and mind. As we live our lives, we all experience trauma, physical or somatic, which gets stored in our muscles and nervous system creating blockage and tension in our bodies and minds. Through bodywork it is possible to move stuck energy, to re-pattern the nervous system and musculature in order to allow space and invite fluidity discharging the old energies that no longer serves us in our day to day lives.
I also have a background as a Hatha Yoga teacher and have a deep understanding of the human body. Each bodywork session is individually tailored to meet a client's needs. A session can consist of one or more modalities ranging from traditional Swedish massage to move lymphatic fluid around and release toxins, fascial stretching and releasing through deep tissue techniques and assisted stretching or energy work through Reiki and polarity and other integrative techniques.
I believe we all have beauty and creativity inside and by moving the energy around we invite space to allow our creativity to blossom and grow.
