Description: Hi, my name is Steven Martinez and I specialize in Therapeutic Massage. I offer professional massage only (non-sexual). I am a massage therapist offering several modalities to fit your needs. I go beyond relaxation into a therapeutic mode of delivery for my clients. I offer comfort and trust to clients by providing special attention to their specific needs which may include rehab from injury, soreness, chronic pain, headaches, carpal tunnel, sciatica and overall tension. I currently work in the Long Beach, Los Angeles, and Orange County areas in California. 24 Hour Fitness Gym is where I performed Deep Tissue and Swedish Massages for many clients. I was also trained in
Cranial-Sacral, Myofascial/Stretching, Shiatsu, Hand and Foot Massage, Pregnancy and Infant Massage, Sports Massage, Chair Massage and Trigger Point Therapy.
I graduated with a diploma from Fremont College in Cerritos, CA with a 4.0 GPA in 2007. It was an 840 hour program (10 months) that included Swedish, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue, Sports, Reflexology, Pregnancy, Business, Ethics, First Aid and more. I also have education in relieving the symptoms of Fibromayalgia.
I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Cal State Dominguez Hills. I graduated in May 2007. Having this knowledge allows me to provide a better method of assessment and advice for my clients in order for them to know more about their bodies and to be able to live an improved, healthy lifestyle. In addition to many Biology and Chemistry courses, I've taken classes in Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmacology and Psychology as well.
