Description: Upon entering the Pensacola Massage Center, you are transported into another world. Soothing background music wraps around frazzled nerves and begins your mini getaway. A selection of herbal teas and sweets await you in the lobby. Live plants and the murmur of waterfalls enhance the atmosphere. Two TVs in the lobby show various types of massage and provide information about massage therapy.
Seven large, themed therapy rooms offer an atmosphere of relaxation and peacefulness. The Tiki Hut Room provides a sauna, shower and 1-hour massage in the atmosphere of the Islands. It includes a big screen LCD TV and you can choose nature videos from beaches around the world to watch and listen during your massage. The other rooms take you to havens in the Far East, the Rainforest, a Country Garden, Teddy Bear Lane, Lighthouse Point or a room full of Angels. The Garden and the Lighthouse rooms have a connecting double door that may be opened to provide a “couples” room. Local artists have added their touches to each of the therapy rooms.
Owner/therapist Mike Hinkle continues his lifelong philosophy of reaching out to the community. He has combined a remarkable team of therapists who place each client’s therapeutic needs above all else. This team offers a wide range of services including Swedish/relaxation massage, deep tissue and neuromuscular therapy, reflexology, prenatal massage, Ashiatsu, Paraffin hand and foot dips w/massage, ear candling, facials, chair massage, and hot stone therapy. All therapists are Florida licensed, nationally certified, and insured.
The benefits of massage therapy are now available to the Pensacola area at an affordable cost. Gift certificates and special packages like the Ladies’ Retreat Package are available. The Ladies Retreat offers a private, 3-hour escape-from-the-ordinary for 6 to 14 ladies. The Center is closed to the public during this time and you are pampered with a 1-hour massage, a paraffin hand dip & massage and a selection of finger foods you choose from a menu. The therapists are devoted entirely to your pampering during this 3-hour retreat. As an extra indulgence…you can even ride to and from the Center in a sleek limousine!
Various community-oriented seminars are held throughout the year, including Infant Massage, Yoga Classes and more. They will soon be offering herbal body treatments and herbal body wraps.
The Center is open seven days a week, including evenings to make it more convenient for their clients. Treat yourself to the healing touch of massage. Let them help you relieve the ‘STRESSES’ that everyday life has created. Walk-ins are accepted whenever possible; however, the therapy rooms book quickly, so please schedule an appointment in advance by calling 850-292-1000, and the Center staff will gladly assist you in any way possible.
