My approach to every modality, including deep-tissue is slow and deliberate which creates minimum discomfort and maximum results. Feel free to ask me any questions and here is some information on a couple modalities which people are more often unfamiliar with: Thai yoga massage is concerned with balancing the energy systems, stretching the muscles and joints. Benefits are greater flexibilty, strengthining of joints, improved posture, better digestion and increased blood circulation. This massage allows for a sense of deep relaxation and rejuvenation. Thai is performed on a large thick mat in loose and comfortable clothing. You are taken through a sequence of yoga based stretches which incorporate palming & thumbing along the energy lines. I use my hands, feet and legs to gracefully move the you into these passive postures The energy work I practice can be best defined by Reiki, a japense word meaning universal energy. Reiki is facilitated with you fully clothed, a session typically lasts between 30-90 minutes while in a reclining position on a massage table. I place my hands on or just above your body to work within the energy fields surrounding your body. I have been attuned by a master reiki practitioner to create the channel within which univeral energy flows. Energy goes where it is needed. Reiki works with your physical body and typically unseen subtle bodies (what people are often referring to when they say aura). Reiki sessions are both deeply relaxing and rejuvinating. Whenever you recieve any type of bodywork session with me you are recieving reiki. However, I also do strictly reiki sessions. My overall rating of this provider: Highly Recommended Would I use this provider again? Yes The following are my expanded comments regarding my experience with this provider: I received my first massage in three months with Lore. I was a bit hesitant because I've had some therapists who didn't know what they're doing. Lore knows just the right spots to hit. This is what I've been missing. For the first time my low back pain doesn't wake me up in the morning! I am much more aware of my posture and general health since she has given me tips. Thank you.
