My overall rating of this provider: Highly Recommended Would I use this provider again? Absolutely! The following are my expanded comments regarding my experience with this provider: Joanna single-handedly got me through the NYC marathon in 2004. It's that simple! I had shin pain and tight hamstrings, and was playing soccer at the same time as marathon training. I had been dealing with running overuse injuries for a few years. She was able to drastically improve those. Her ready knowledge of anatomy enabled her to diagnose my issues and progress, and if she doesn't know something 100% she'll diligently go and research it. She is able to do truly deep work, with wonderful pressure which I thoroughly enjoy. She is also very sensitive and has a way of sensing where hidden knots or tension lies. She is really creative and knows a wider variety of approaches than any other massage therapist I have come across. She's thoroughly professional, courteous, organized, and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending her in the highest terms.
