My Other Website:

Description: I graduated from the National Institute of Massotherapy in October, 2003 and received my license to practice massage therapy from the State of Ohio Medical Board in January, 2003. I worked at a spa in Lake Milton and in a chiropractic office in Alliance right after licensure, both of which gave me a heavy medical background due to the fact that most of our spa clients were Medicaid patients needing therapeutic treatment and, for the most part, in the D.C.'s office, I worked on the more "difficult to treat" patients before they received chiropractic. I currently work out of the Meadowsweet Herbs & Massage location as well as do outcall massage.

I opened my office in October, 2004 and have plans for expansion soon. I like to volunteer my time as a massage therapist to Pedal to the Point, an annual bicycling event that benefits multiple sclerosis. The office itself has ambient lighting and a comfortable atmosphere that may include music and the running of a small fountain, depending on the client's preference. I am always striving to better understand what a client wants and needs from a session. I generally offer a medium-deep massage but gauge my pressure by client feedback, of course. I also believe in client education; every three months, I mail a newsletter on some aspect of massage in relation to specific subjects and/or stress reduction.
