I do, however, use proven massage techniques to help alleviate your aches and pains.
I am licensed with the State of Delaware and have been nationally certified since 1990. I was the President of the Delaware Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association. I have taught at a massage school as well as traveled across the nation conducting classes on medical massage. My advanced training allows me to utilize many different techniques to help alleviate muscular/skeletal aches and pains, headaches, and other chronic conditions.
I think globally and act locally. That is, I look at your overall posture, health, and activities and relate them to your particular health problems. I then use various massage techniques to treat your specific concerns.
I firmly believe that patients can also help themselves. Sessions include useful suggestions on massage techniques, stretching, and exercises that can be done at home which are targeted for your particular conditions. I seriously love the power of massage.
