Description: My style of massage is treatment oriented. Even if you come just for relaxation, your stress is stored in your muscles. I identify the areas you hold tension in your body and address the appropriate muscles to release that tension. In addition to the session time, I provide an assessment interview that goes through your daily routines to determine cause of muscle stress. After the session, I suggest solutions to modify your daily routine to limit unnecessary stress on your muscles, including sleeping position, posture, gait, stretches.
Conditions I can treat and / or ease: Arthritis, Scoliosis, Carpal Tunnel, Thoracic Outlet, Plantar Fasciatis, Fibromyalgia, Tendonitis, TMJ Disorder, Neck stiffness, Low back pain, Pseudo-sciatica
With the adjustable BodyCushion set (http://www.bodysupport.com/) that supports any sized belly throughout its pregnancy, I can work on your low back in a prone position (face-down) on the massage table.
I've been assisting teaching in Ashmead College since June 2004.
In my own practice, I offer classes in which I demonstrate massage techniques
with thorough explanations on each technique and the muscles involved.
The clients participate in the session while one is on the table
and the other follows my demonstration and my guidance in massage.
You can learn the basics of massage in even one class in order for you to practice on each other at home safely and effectively. In follow up classes, I can teach different strokes and different techniques on different muscle groups.
In this partner yoga of Base (practitioner) and Flyer (patient), gravity is used to increase the effectiveness of stretches and allow easier access to deeper muscles. (see attached pictures)
I also teach basic acroyoga. A fun and therapeutic recreation that can be practiced with friends and family.
I came to Seattle in 1999 as a software engineer,
but decided to change my career and help people in a more direct fashion. I graduated with honors in 2004 from the Seattle based Ashmead massage school.
I speak fluent English, Hebrew and some French.

"The hot stone massage is divine-Nadov Nahari masterfully combines a hands-on massage with the deliciously warm stones and manages to find every tight and sore spot on a body in 90 minutes ($120). The result: You'll leave feeling like buttah"

"I've had many massages in my life and the best one by far is from Nadov at Banya5. He is incredible!! I've gone to him three times now and all I can think about is when can I book my next one!. If you want the ultimate relaxing experience-hang out in the tubs and steam rooms for atleast an hour and then head upstairs for the best message ever with Nadov (can't remember his last name). You will not be dissapointed. The experiences stays with you for days. Your body just feels so....relaxed. Don't forget to make sure you ask for Nadov. Enjoy!!!"
