Description: Welcome! I offer Shiatsu, Swedish, deep tissue and stretching, and work in a peaceful, private space, using a very comfortable and sturdy NRG massage table. The setting is warm and inviting. Plenty of free parking, and a safe place to secure your bicycle. Draping is optional, and everyone is welcome.
Massage should have the effect of assisting you to transcend the everyday reality and rest in the still, magic place within where the creation of worlds is possible. Massage done well is nothing short of an induced meditative state through the use of rhythmic touch, often accompanied with music that beckons the mind inward.
The tactile tools I use are Shiatsu and Swedish. In addition to helping you achieve an inner calm and clarity, they also offer certain physiological benefits, as the removal of lactic acid from the muscles, improved digestion, better sleep, muscle tissue repair and much more. I include deep tissue work and stretching as I go along, and I am gentle and aware as I work on you.
