She has received her training from Olympia Career Institute located in
Grand Rapids, MI, where she was one of the most requested therapists in
student clinics by patients. Since graduation, Jody has been managing a
professional practice to assist with pain management and stress relief for a
variety of patients, while continuing education. Some of the modalities that she incorporates into her sessions are: Swedish, Myofascial, Shiatsu. She is trained and educated in many massage modalities to help with all types of issues that one may have such as Swedish, therapeutic, Neuromuscular, Deep Tissue, Sports, hot stone, bamboo, Trigger Point and Reiki.
Jody has a passion for massage and tries to assist everyone she meets by educating them on the benefits of massage, giving them the best treatment sessions, while working with their specific condition and health care provider. She provides educational materials, showing patients how to do self help with physical therapy exercises and other necessary treatments between sessions. This helps patients reduce sessions, save money, teach patients about their issues and help the healing process with self help.
