Description: LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE (LDM)
Lymphatic drainage massage is a form of gentle massage that encourages the movement of lymph fluids around the body. The fluid in the lymphatic system helps remove waste and toxins from the bodily tissues. Some health conditions can cause lymph fluid to build up. Lymphatic drainage massage can benefit people who are experiencing the following:
lymphedema
fibromyalgia
swelling or edema
skin disorders
fatigue
insomnia
stress
digestive problems
arthritis
migraine episodes
People should not have a lymphatic massage if they have congestive heart failure, blood clots, kidney problems, infections, or circulation problems. If a person has any medical conditions, they should talk to a doctor before trying a lymphatic massage.
SWEDISH/WELLNESS MASSAGE THERAPY
Wellness therapy is focused on maintaining a state of equilibrium/balance of sympathetic and parasympathetic system. It is a way to manage excessive stress to its minimum so as to preserve a healthy functioning of nervous system and promote healthy muscle tone and organs functions. Wellness therapy is treated with Swedish massage to recalibrate muscle tone along with proper breathing routine. Swedish massage also promotes better circulation and enhances immune system.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE THERAPY
Deep tissue treatment addresses fatigue muscles due to improper posture, psychological and repetitive stresses syndromes. Deep tissue therapy restores muscle imbalance to generates healthy posture and proper muscular functioning
-normalize muscles length
-muscles strengthening
-release fatigued muscles with soft tissue manipulation and active assisted release
-improve range of motion
PRENATAL MASSAGE
Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage • to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. But it's also tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies, and therapists who are trained in prenatal massage adjust their techniques accordingly.
ORTHOPEDIC MASSAGE is intended for athletes who suffer acute injury or chronic strain of activity that has accumulated to the point of diminished performance activities. ORTHOPEDIC MASSAGE specifically addresses the injured joint or muscle and the surrounding tissue. The primary intention of ORTHOPEDIC MASSAGE is to enhance the healing process and to help athletes return to full activity more quickly. It is an effective pain management for acute and chronic muscles conditions caused by trauma and repetitive muscular stress syndromes. It is a natural treatment of muscular conditions that allow the muscle to respond and recover in its own timing. Each condition is addressed specifically according to complaint and feedback from assessment of specific muscle/s. Within ORTHOPEDIC MASSAGE approach encompasses muscle energy techniques (MET) and soft tissue manipulation to restore dysfunctional muscle to a healthy condition: NORMALIZE MUSCLE LENGTH and INCREASE RANGE OF MOTION. Each condition is treated within pain tolerance limit to minimize post-treatment soreness.
ORTHOPEDIC MASSAGE is individually designed according to the type of injury, stage of healing, and severity of injury. As adjunct to ORTHOPEDIC MASSAGE approach, MYOFASCIAL RELEASE, NEUROMUSCULAR THERAPY, as well as LYMPHATIC FACILITATION are used for recovery.
Specific treatment conditions include:
-ITB Friction Syndrome
