Description: Thai Yoga Massage is a combination of assisted stretching in supported reclining poses using pillows and props (Yoga) while I manipulate and stretch the body. Some aspects of Thai are like Western massage (eg, work done on the back) other aspects are surprising (foot massage, facial massage, the use of my elbows, feet, body weight on you during the session).
I also offer Therapeutic (gentle, restorative) Yoga. This involves spending up to ten minutes in a supported pose while reclining on props, doing breathwork, and guided meditation. I have had success with this technique on people dealing with cancer, mobility issues, grief, etc.
I am also certifed in Vinyasa Yoga and offer training and support in that as well as traditional Hatha Yoga.
